Photoshop Collage

To construct my final collage project I used a few simple tools in Adobe Photoshop. First, I used a filter on the background layer to make the contrast of the sky and sand pop. I then added the clock, and then changed the opacity. I added the dog tags and used the puppet warp tool to make it seem like they are actually hanging on the clock. Then, added the words my boyfriend wrote in a poem. The last and final touch was the addition of the hands reaching for each other but not yet touching. I am happy with my final product, and again enjoyed using Adobe Photoshop!

Magazine Cover

This is my magazine cover I created in Adobe Photoshop. This project was more time consuming than difficult. To construct the large image of myself I used the magnetic lasso tool to trace myself, and then inserted the selection onto the cover. The rest of the magazine is mostly images inserted, rectangles placed around the images, and text. I chose to go with a simple version of a magazine cover that looked very well put together, instead of a busy cover that would take away from the actual meaning. I am happy with my final piece and loved using photoshop!
